Welding and cutting on board is among the most sensitive work items, both technically and in terms of safety. Where flammable atmospheres, confined spaces and risks in adjacent compartments are not properly managed, a small repair can turn into a major incident.
We therefore carry out gas measurement before every hot work job, complete the permits, and keep a fire watch and extinguishing equipment on standby. The work itself is performed by welders experienced in ship repair.
